I havent kept up with the comic for a while so I am unsure of why they are where Charles and the King are but as I can see they are out on the forest.
The King seems to be waking Charles up and he ironically is telling him "I hope you know how to cook"
Charles is kind of like an animal so im sure he does not cook, he eats bugs and raw meat form animals that he probably kills himself. The King is on his own and will have to cook for himself!
